Implementing the 8 mathematical practices is essential in creating a classroom of innovators, risk takers, and problem solvers.  Each week, I will post about one of the mathematical practices.

Make Sense of Problems and Persevere in Solving Them

It is important for teachers to know how to implement each mathematical practice because that is beneficial in modeling for our students, but in the end what's most important is for our students to be implementing the practices in the math classroom.
